Basic Sourdough $12
Sourdough is known for its characteristic tangy flavor, chewy texture and crisp, crackly crust. From a health standpoint, it dominates when compared to supermarket loaves. The naturally occurring acids and long fermentation help to break down the gluten, making it more digestible and easier for the body to absorb. This versatile loaf is great for sandwiches, topped with jam or butter, dipped in soup or our favorite dipping sauce. The possibilities are up to you! 500g round
Every loaf is sprinkled with water from Lourdes, France.
***Allergy Warning*** Baskets used in the bread making process are dusted with RICE flour. The bottoms of the loaves are dusted with CORN meal (with the exception of the sandwich loaves..pan is lined with BUTTER). At times starter may have fennel seeds.
